I am part of the Walklin family and will see if there is ay knowledge of them in Henley...Mostly we are in Kent. I am new to this so would appreciate it if anyone knows much of the Walklin family in 1800s. Thank you

I didn't know the family was also in Kent.  It will be great to hear more of the family.  I have a family tree on ancestry.ca "Goodbody/Wakelin" if you would like to check it out.

Hi I'm looking for Martha Walkling, she lived in Teddington Middlesex but was born in Henley-on-Thames. Her father is a Thomas Walkling but I haven't found any documentation to prove this and I've no idea who her mother is.   ???
On another note I was reading the earlier posts and someone mentioned Frances Walkling marrying a Wheeler of Richmond, and there was a Granny Wheeler in my family but no one knows how she's related. Is it possible that Frances Walkling was sister to Martha?
Does anyone have any ideas of where to look - I've searched BMD and census's and done random web searches and found nothing except this forum?
Any help appreciated.
 :)

As far as I know at the moment I don't have anyone in my family tree with these names but you never know what the future will unfold.

Hi
My family line goes up on the HILL family to Mahershalahashbaz HILL who married Sarah Waklin. Another family member mentioned he was named after his wife (Sarah's) father/grandfather. Nice to make the connection:)

Greetings from the states. I am a descendant of Mary Walklin child of Hiram Child of James child of Robert from Kent.  James came to Illinois in the 1800s and then my line came to Indian Territory now Oklahoma where we intermarried with the Cherokees and are still here today.
