Enhancement required to read these gravestones
« on: Saturday 14 June 08 18:09 BST (UK) »
Last week I visited Westedale, a beautiful part of the country. I forgot to take my camera so took a few pics on my phone of gravestones of my Barker ancestors but they're not very good, I can't read the inscriptions. Can anyone please enhance them so they are legible? Will post the last one separately.

A little larger.
POSTEES: If possible, PLEASE, scan your images at 300 - 600 dpi, for both ease of restoration and best results
RESTORERS: Feel free to change/improve/colour any restorations posted by myself.  Acknowledgment would be appreciated.

Thanks Charles. Don't know about you but I still can't read them! The eyesight must be failing me!

I got "erected" in the top line of the first one. But I'm afraid the definition is too low to see much.

The pattern of dots suggests all sort of things that just dont exist.

On the first one I get 'Erected' and the last word on the first line I make out 'Barker' or 'Parker'. It's nearly impossible to dicipher any more.
