Can someone advise I am trying to help another lady solve a family puzzle. Her grandmother is Margaret Boswell born 1892. Who is supposed to have been adopted aged 6 weeks, somewhere nr. Erith, Kent by a John Boswell. The family story that has been handed down says her name was originally Margaret Mary Ann DOBBINS and that she was born in Maune, County Cork, Ireland in approx 1892. Can anyone advise or help in finding out how to prove or disprove this. Birth Certificate registration details anything really.
