Sims & Francis Fisher 1841 census?
« on: Tuesday 24 June 08 21:46 BST (UK) »
Sims Fisher married Frances Mather Sept. 1839 in Manchester.
I can find no sign of them in the 1841 census.
Can anyone assist?

Hi Kooky,

I noticed that son Robert was born in Hull c.1842ish.  They have been transcribed as Franas Fester, Jimm Fester, Ann Fester etc.

H107/1231/10 Folio 44 page 80.  Yorkshire, Holy Trinity

If you need the full transcript let me know.

Regards,
Mo

I believe Sims Fisher is my 3 time Great Grandfather through his son Richard and then his son, Samuel Fisher. My grandmother was the daughter of Samuel. Are either Kooky or Mo still researching? Cannot PM as new to the forum. Thanks John

Hello John,

A warm welcome to Rootschat  :).  I am not researching this particular Fisher family, I was just helping by finding them in the 1841 census for kooky.

Regards,
Mo
