Hi Maryalice,
Lovely to hear from Joseph's side of the family - are you Daniel, Alice or Elizabeth's grandaughter? I have a lot of info on the family thanks to Agnes who has done  loads of local research in Donegal.

Hi Anne,

I am Alice's granddaughter (one of her 30 grandchildren); my mother Sally being Alice's 3rd child of 9.

Isn't it lovely the way computers make the world so much smaller?!

Hi Maryalice,
I thought you were Alice's granddaughter from your name. We met Alice & family members at her home in 1983 but I don't know if your Mom was one of them. We met so many American relations in 1983 I lost track.

Anyone here related to a George Doherty married to a Grace Mcgonicle (tiernalsigo) .  They had son Daniel 1849, Charles 1852, Margaret 1855.

Or a Dan Doherty married to an Ann Duffy (Claggin), they had a charles born 1852 and a catherine born 1855.  Catherine married Daniel from the family above on 1 Feb 1885.

Nickname Kane.

Another part of my family related to other Dohertys from Uriis - Nickname "Paddy owen".

LOve any info thank you.
