CUMMINS Look-ups please/ COMPLETED

Hi,

I just have a few relatives left to find info on before tying up all my N.Z. loose-ends.

Owen Cummins and Martha ( Shaw) Cummins both died in 1910 in Ramarama/Maketu. She of T.B. aged 28 and he of a heart attack 6mths later aged 45. They left 4 children as orphans, aged 7, 5, 3 and 11mths.

Have info on 2 children;  Owen 1905-1984
                                        John   1907-1979 ( my Father)

The children were split up and have no info on one and a little on the other. So am looking for info on;

Margaret Cummins , born 1909 approx. married ? EDGE
                                 Lived Cambridge area.

Francis Cummins ,    born abt. 1903- nothing on him at all

( have looked at all obvious sites Archway etc.- possible Probate and death for Francis 1986, Hamilton probate- retired school teacher- Rotorua. There is also a buriel of Francis Cummins aged 83 ,13 July 1986, died Assisi Home , Matangi, buried Hamilton Park Cemetary)

Any info appreciated, marriage, death, electrol roll etc.

Have you checked out the Letters of Administration at Archives for Owen?
Although there is no Will, there may be mention of the children in supporting papers…..

Have you checked out the probates you mentioned above?

There is a cemetery entry for Margaret Ann EDGE:
1997, aged 88
Age fits, so could well be her.
As it is fairly recent, I will PM you the details.

There is also a Francis Leonard CUMMINS…..
Do you know if “your” Francis had a 2nd name?

  Owen Cummins, I have contact with his son and have all the descendants ( he had 13  ::  children)
 Have not checked the Probates, only found them yesterday. Just want a little info. on Margaret and particularly Francis. No, do not think Francis had second name. Am pretty sure the one buried Hamilton would be him.
If you could P.M. the cemetary entry for Margaret, I would appreciate it.

Yes, 13 kids between 1933 and 1951
I rechecked gedcom! from one of their sons.
