We have just up-dated our website. We have added images of the Dumfriesshire valuation roll (1896-97), an historic letter and an edition of the Chambers’ Historical Newspaper. Interestingly this newspaper contains birth, marriages and deaths from 1832 so it’s worth a look. All the resources are free. Anyway hope somebody finds it all useful.

Just updated the website, we have added more pages from the valuation role. We now have Annan, Applegarth, Caerlaverock, Canonbie, Closeburn, Cummertrees, Dalton and Dornock all online.
