Linda - Although Bridget is listed as head it just means Edward was elsewhere.
dates vary slightly because of census date. think Bridget died in 1920 - after Catherines death obviously - as I have given you Edwards 2nd marriage as 1921.

Linda, my last posting on this as i am going away for a week: SP

Bridget Reillys death:
died 4/8/1915 age 75 (this makes birth year 1840 - diff -but often happened on census getting dates wrong - think this more likely)

father:  edward Murray farmer  decd
Mother: bridget murray ms moore?  decd

off A. 1901 census from above address:

mary reilly        da.    b.1876 Auchterderran

I have good reason to believe my Great Grandfather George Stein Dryden was buried in Lochgelly in 1902. He died on 29 May 1902 at 21 Gardiner Street. His father was John Dryden and mother Mary Stein. His wife was Mary Hetherton. His son George, a coal miner in Lochgelly, was in attendance at his death. Have you any suggestions how I might be able to find where he is buried.
Alex.

Hi Alex I have photographed the headstones in Lochgelly all 1100 of
them and can see no Dryden Stones, this does no mean he is not
buried there but he has no marker.
the only DRYDEN headstone I have is in Falkland Cemetery
inscription reads

227   Johnsten  DRYDEN died 1953 age 79
Wife Frances McNEILL died 20.9.1963age 86

Many thanks.

The Falkland Headstone is my grandfather and grandmother. My Grandfather is John Stein Dryden, not Johnsten.
Cheers,

Alex.
