Hi

Can anyone tell me whether there's an MI for a Donald (Daniel) Urquhart or Grace Urquhart at Suddie? Grace died 1858 and Donald (Daniel) died between 1840 and 1852.

Thanks very much!

Hi Julz

I've got the book of MIs from Suddie Burial Ground (produced by the Highland Family History Society).

I've checked the entries and unfortunately there's not a Robert Munro, James Munro or a Mary Ann McFarquhar listed.

Just in case they might be elsewhere in the area, I've also checked the MI books for Kilmuir Burial Ground and Killearnan Churchyard and this family isn't listed in these either.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Would you be good enough to search for a burial amongst your MI books?
I'm looking for Catherine Davidson (nee Gough) who died post 1848. Her husband Donald and son (also Donald) latterly moved to Australia in 1890 but they had lived in Avoch. I can't find anything on her birth/marriage/death.
Any help appreciated

There are photographs of gravestones from many burial grounds in Ross and Cromarty on this site. I know Suddie is on there, but have not checked to see if the ones you're looking for are there. http://gravestones.rosscromartyroots.co.uk/
