Hi again Bantman

I have information on this coming from a very unusual story. If you get these messages I will relay it to you as it is quite amazing!

I am descended from Rebecca Spencer. Her sister Elizabeth had an illegitimate child, Thomas. Elizabeth later married William Eyres. Thomas married Annie Cowdry and one of their children was Percy Spencer who moved to Sussex and married Fanny Sweetman. If I am talking to Wendy here I'll eat my hat! Anyway, a family tree is being drawn and if you have discovered any dates to go with the above info, I'd love to have it to complete the tree.

Ruth

Hi Bantman

Is this by any chance Wendy?

I did some more internet searching and think I've found parents of James Spencer being John Spencer and Betty Wise. Will try and confirm when I go to the records office.

Ha ha, how funny is that! It struck me as I was writing! I'll get your e-mail from Mel. I'm going to Chippenham on 19th March. Word birthday present to myself! I'll let you know what I find although I think they may have moved around so it may be a tad tricky. Take care.
