If you want to go further back, John's parents were probably Benjamin Bird and Eliza Mogg who were married in the Bridgwater area Jan Q 1847.

Thank ok, my husband has both Bird and Mogg family connections from the local villages near Moorlinch, but I have not gonne back far enough to see if there is a connection....happy hunting.

Fancy that  My mothers maiden name was Bird  she was Charles daughter .

I also have a Diment in the tree  she came from the North Petherton area   She married into the Chedzoy line  from PURITON  by way of High Ham and Stoke st Gregory  I was born in Purion  Never met any of the Bird family

I Have no other knowledge of any other of Charles siblings
maybe  one day   

If you find a Chedzoy.Chedzey  Govier or Kingdon in your search  get in touch  I have them pretty well tied down !!
