James Fisher Cassidy

Im trying to trace my Grandfather his name is James Fisher Cassidy he was born Kilsyth 1911 his father was Patrick Cassidy and his mother was Mary Fisher I have Patrick & Mary Cassidy  on the 1891 census at 30 Market street
He married Margaret Sommerville in 1931 at St Ninians  They split up during the war. Im not sure if after the war he then moved to England. i seem to have come to a dead end. can any one help.

were they legally divorced?
Is there any family members who would have any info
Is there any mention of him in your parents marriage cert.
He is out there just waiting to be found!

Yes i got birth record from Scotlands people he is named on dads marriage cert. My grandparents never divorced (RC)
when they split up all the kids ended up in Nazareth House Aberdeen So family dont have much info and the little they do they not to keen on talking about. If he still here he will be 97
