Bopeep?Pembury

I have a birth certificate and the address looks like Bopeep Pembury sub district Brenchley. Am I  reading it right or should it be something else

I've googled Bopeep, Penbury Kent & is seems there's a place called Bo-peep Corner in Pembury.

I wonder if it's as nice as it sounds

Hi there,

If it is in Pembury, Kent (near Tunbridge Wells) then it is Bo Peep - my husband had ancestors from there too!

Hi, Bo Peep is in Pembury and years ago there was a village sign of Bo Peep. It now has a Pembury Sign. Poppyann

I've been trying to find out how the name came about, but no luck
I suppose it's something only the locals would know!

My husband who grew up in the Bo Peep end of Pembury says "it's because she used to live there" 

To be truthful he has no idea, excpet that there used to be a Bo Peep Stores there. There's lower and upper green, Woodgate one end of the village and Bo Peep the other as you head out towards Lamberhurst.

Oh, and it isn't all that wonderful  just a lot of ordinary houses

Perhaps an eccentric person lived there, & used to dress up as Bo Peep

How disappointing to hear it's just a row of houses!
