Hi. Are you still looking for Alex Gellie? I have a George and Mary Gellie, nee Mackie in my family. They married 13 June 1857 in Belhelvie. Mary's parents were John Mackie and Helen Mackie. Mary died 3 July 1898 in Belhelvie.  They had a son Alexander born Peterhead 1869 who went on to have a son Alexander born Aberdeen 1889. I found George Gellie born 12 !ovember 1831 in Old Deer, Aberdeenshire and died in 1905.  Is this any help.  How are you related?
