Samuel Tarrant c1833-1891... interesting... Samuel Tarrant was one of 260 convicts transported on the John, 03 August 1833... same year as the previous Samuel Tarrant was born.

This record is one of the entries in the British convict transportation registers 1787-1867 database compiled by State Library of Queensland from British Home Office (HO) records which are available on microfilm as part of the Australian Joint Copying Project.

Hi,

I have been trying to find someone called Samuel Liney for a very long time and not getting any where I'm not sure if its the same person we have or not. my Samuel that I have been looking for is born in Kent in 1833 and I found him in the 1881 census with his wife Harriett born 1836 from Bristol and also their children Thomas Liney 1867 and Herbert 1875.

but I cannot find any more on that Samuel weather if its any other censuses, a death or his parents, could anyone please help me solve this ??

Many Thanks
Vicky
