My wife is a descendant of William (Colquhoun) Cohoon, born abt. 1633 in Scotland.  He came to the U.S. abt. 1650 as an indentsured servant.  I believe William's father was Alexander Colquhoun Sir 17th.  Any information on this line would be appreciated.

Mattimis,

I have records for a family of COLQUHOUN's from Renfrew, Scotland.  They were found in the 1841 census.  Would these possibly be your wife's ancestors?  Since I have quite a few it might be better if I send them to your e-mail as try to put all information in here.  Not sure if you are allowed to put personal e-mail address's in this forum.

Mattimis,

No Problem.  If you find they are linked to the ones in Renfrew feel free to contact me. *
