Hello - I think I have your Frederick Alfred Carroll in my tree.  You may of course have solved this mystery already!

Frederick Alfred Carroll was born in 1864.  He married Catherine Douglass in 1889 and had a son James Garnet Carroll in 1889-1962 and a daughter Florence Rose Carroll in 1893 who died in 1894 in the workhouse.
