The Pisser Dignam
« on: Thursday 18 September 08 03:02 BST (UK) »
I've just come across a reference to the history of Bohemians F.C. Apparantly, Dalymount is built on what was an 'overgrown vegetable patch' known locally as "The Pisser Dignam's Field"

Does anybody know anything about the gentleman in question?

I am not sure about Pisser Dignam, but Dalymount was the name before and after it was called Pisser Dignam. Owned by Peter and Susannah Daly of the Weastmeath minor gentry.
