Hi All,

Looking for information on Manus Cannon and family from Meenacreeve Donegal.  Manus was married to Bridget Gallagher.  Their son James Cannon came to Scotland and married Mary Coyle on Xmas day 1918 in Glasgow Scotland. Mary was also from Ireland, when Mary died aged 39 she was taken back to Donegal to be buried with family.

Any information would be welcome

What information do you have already (census, civil certificates, chruch records, etc.?) Any dates (for James's birth etc.)
You can search PRONI (www.proni.gov.uk) for Donegal Will extracts and 1911 (and then 1901) census records will eventually be online on National Archives, Dublin site.

I don't have much information on James and Mary Cannon.  I know that James was born about 1891 in Donegal Ireland he was 27 when he married in 1918, and died in 1991,we believe just short of his 100th year. (no one really knew his age),My father knew that his parents came from Meenacreeve in Donegal. I have a copy of his marriage certificate.
