This is the closest I can see in 1841 for Duncan and some siblings:

John Morrison 25, farmer
Effa Morrison 22
James Morrison 20
Duncan Morrison 18
Cethrin Duncan 30
Duncan Duncan 9
John Duncan 5
Mary Duncan 3
James Duncan    2 Months

Address: Farm Of Clonaig, Skipness Argyll

And in 1851, with a bit more detail:

John Moreson 32, farmer, b. Saddell
Cathrine Moreson 40, brother, b. Killean
Femia Mereson 30, b. Saddell
Duncan Moreson 26, brother, b. Killean
Duncan MacAllum 17, b. Saddell
Mary MacEnathy 12, b. Saddell
James MacOnachy 10, b. Saddell

Address: Grianan, Saddell and Skipness

Glad to see it was the correct family after all. ;D Great work on the census entries, Monica.

Thank s to all of you.
My husband says these are all right, and is very grateful. It really fleshes out the family, who had been quite a mystery.
If I can help in Canada, please let me know.

Hi there,
Just found this site after looking for a Duncan Morrison. My family are from John Muir and Euphemia Morrison from Ardrishaig area and I've got an old newspaper clipping re. the murder of a  Dr.Duncan Shaw Morrison! [I've found his birth and death certs, 28/9/1864 and 3/6/1908 respectively, parents =Duncan Morrison(Innkeeper) and Mary Shaw]. I've been trying to find the relationship between 'my' Euphemia and him.
Inverary Jail was where the perpetrator of the murder was sent....a William MacGregor.........whole story on the jail's website!

Anyone know of Euphemia Morrison and Duncan?
