I'm hoping we were related and if I have any local family.

Great to hear from you, I do hope you're doing okay and are well.
I haven't come across a Frederick William Serjeant from Stowmarket but I'll see what I can find out and let you know.
I'll also have a look for the copy of the family tree.  This was placed with my family documents a few years ago which could be boxed away in my loft.  I'll be in touch
Did you ever find anything more on William Surgun (Serjeant)?  I wonder if the Serjeant's originated from Suffolk or elsewhere?

As a matter of interest my Family lived in Auckland for a few years in the 1950s how unlikely is that.
