Hi
I have the East Lothian Monumental Inscriptions, Westermost parishes (Tranent, Seton, Prestonpans, Prestonpans West & Ormiston Old Churchyard) The Inscriptions for Tranent Parish Churchyard were listed in June 2005.
There are no Dodds or Skeldons listed but quiet a few Johnstones. If you could give me a few more details I'll look.
East Lothian Monumental Inscriptions, Hillfoot Vilages (Garvald, Innerwick, Moreham, Oldhamstocks, Spott, Stenton, Whittinghame & yester) does have some Skeldons & Dod(d)s. Again if you have more specific names I will Look.
Fiona

DODDS is family of Margaret DODDS(aboved1841) who may have been b 1782 in Langton, Berwick. She is buried with husband but parents I believe to be
Peter Dodds and Elizabeth Penny - not sure if they moved from Langton.
JOHNSTON is my important one however and several missing links which burial records could confirm. Family Born in both Tranent and Prestonpans. I have checked PrestonKirk and none so far link. Hoping to find elsewhere.
William JOHNSTON m Janet FORMAN born c 1730s.
Children James b1761, George b 1763, Jean 1765, Mary 1768, William 1774, Charlotte Hope, 1777.
Possible of course they moved out of area as did my Charles b 1777.
Also f you find any SCRIMGEOUR I would be interested.
Thanks
Tricia
