My Uncle from Aylsham Norfolk

Does anyone remember Harold Derrick Norton (known as Derrick) from Aylsham, Norfolk. He was in the World War 2 and told he was a Desert Rat, have no army number for him. He was on a photo in the War Illustrated on a truck as they went into El Almein.  Have photos of him and others Italy 1945.
