Would someone kindly do me 1891 lookup for Edward Charlton? Here he is in 1881

Jen I dont know if you received that last post. In case you didnt I was looking to see if William Chapman son continued to farm Cross Hill Hall after Esther retired. So anything after 1871 please

On first looking, it seems that the only William Chapman, aged 50, born Croft, was a licensed victualler in Hornby in Northallerton, married with a wife Ann and a son William aged three.

It could well be that it is yours - he could have married late.

I'll keep looking.

The farm has changed hands. Must have been when Esther retired. She died in 1888 aged 83
