Advice please
« on: Monday 20 October 08 19:55 BST (UK) »
Hello,

Can anybody please tell me what records are available for searches in Ireland? I have a Johanna Purcell who married in 1921 in Yorkshire England but the marriage only lasted 2 years.  I can find no other trace of her in England and wondered if she went back to her family. Are there electrol roll records that could be searched?

Many thanks brads

The registration of Johanna's marriage in England will give her father's name. This gives a starting point.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I have a copy of her wedding certificate and a copy of her parents certificate. I also know that no passenger records are available for crossings to Ireland.

This is why I was wondering if there were electrol rolls.
