forgot to mention that my family were listed as McFadyen in the earlier certificates and then changed to McFadden.
Also in one reply the person mentions an address in the Back Row in Falkirk. If you're looking at a modern Falkirk map you won't find it as it's now called Manor Street but a lot of the old buildings are still there.
At the end of the 19th century there were McFaddens living in Linlithgow, not far from Falkirk, so maybe the branch you're looking for may be there.

Helen Elsie McFadden referred to above married James Laurence Morgan and their family was reared in Glasgow. By coincidence James Laurence Morgans mother was from the St Johnson area of County Donegal.

Helen born on 4 June 1922 at 78 Orchard St, Camelon. Falkirk is listed on her Birth Certificate as Helen Nelson McFadden
