I have a Mary Ann Bloomer b. Tyrone 1815. She married James Carr--first child William b. 1838. Came to Canada around 1850.
Do not know their town in Tyrone--Roman Catholics.

Thank you so much for this.  Kerr/Carr is a family connection....Benburb area I think. It is very helpful. Good searching to you.

Yes. My family line is Bloomer.  Elizabeth, my Greatgrandmother, Sessiagh, married Daniel Murphy in 1879.

I know little of Elizabeth's family except that she was the daughter of Robert Bloomer from the same place.  I don't know if she had siblings, her mother's maiden name, if Robert had siblings and so on, But I do know there was a Carr/Kerr connection to the Bloomers.

I'm not sure if Mary Ann Bloomer and Elizabeth were related as Mary Ann was an earlier generation.

I believe there were Carrs/Kerrs in the Benburb, Co. Tyrone area in the 20th  Century.

Thanks for your information, and good serching.

Hi,
My greatgrandfather was a Bloomer. Albert was born in Dungannon in 1902 and married Annie Siberry in 1928.
I've only managed to find his parents, James Bloomer (1870-1947) who was married to Isabella Stewart (1870-1943)

James and Isabella had several children: Sarah (born 1894); Hilda May (born 1896); James (born 1898); Thomas William (1899-1918);Annie Isabella (born 1901); George Henery Stewart (born 1905); and Elizabeth (born 1906).
The only further information I have is that Hilda May had two children Harold and Albert ( I believe the children's surname is Mckee)
I'm not sure if these are the same people as in your tree but if they are I'd love to know more about them.

Thanks

If you look at the 1911 census entry for James and Isabella you'll see that they had 8 children (only 7 living)-
www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Tyrone/Benburb/Carrowcolman/862326

It looks like you've just estimates for the children's births so I did a search in GRONI's database for all 8 children and found 9 (one born after 1911)-
1. Elizabeth (18 Jan.1892)
2. Sarah (30 Oct.1893)
3. Hilda May (29 May 1895)
4. James (13 Sept.1897)
5. Thomas William (2 Mar.1899)
6. Annie Isabella (2 May 1901-19 Aug.1901)
7. Albert Alexander (9 Nov.1902)
8. George Henry S. (8 Oct.1905)
9. Harold (19 Feb.1914)

Also, remember not to post details of anyone who might still be living.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
