Beginner looking for some help

I have the details of the relative that brought up my father. Not sure if the 1901 census is available to look at yet, but will definately find out about this.  Dont think that tracing my grandmother will be easy, but willing to give it my best shot.  Denise

Not sure how to post this info onto the Scottish boards, but will try.  Will check our marriage certificate and enlistment forms.

the 1901 census is available ask on the Scottland board and I am sure some one will look it up if you give the name of the relative. Was a father's name given on the birth certificate?

OK to post on the Scottland Boards
Click on the HOME button towards the top of the page scroll down untill you find Scottland then Click on Aberdeen and then click on New Topic
then carry on as you are here good luck with it
