Fellow RootsChatters have already provided much information for you on Zelda Floris CRANCH, and from the previous thread it can be seen that you have followed up on some of the leads which have been given.

Yes, it's worthwhile trying the Cambridge Library as Althea suggests, but if there is no birth notice available, then (as suggested before), the only way really, to solve this puzzle, is to purchase the birth certificate for Zelda.

Hi Zelda Floris Cranch is the daughter of William Samuel John Cranch and Ada Florence Reynolds. She was born in 1914 in Cambridge NZ. Her siblings are as follows:

Cecil Alvin William Cranch b: 1916/6845 Te Aroha NZ
d: 7 April 1921/1301at Paeroa, Waikato, NZ
& Laurence Clive Cranch
b: 1924 Thames NZ

I haven't been able to confirm his birth.
