My Roberts family was in Belfast prior to about 1830.  I would like to compare notes.

Most sincerely, Peter J. Roberts

I have an ancestor William Lamble Roberts who was born in Devon 1809. He had 12 children and it appears that they were based a lot in Holywood. His wife was Jane and lived at 33 Church Road there. The man born in 1869 could be a grandson? I have a lot of information about the 12 children, as well as a photo of William Lamble Roberts. I really look forward to finding more information.

Thanks for posting this information, although I already have it. Your post was asking to compare...

I do not know how James fits into the family. Is he a cousin or uncle? Or have notes about a William marrying a Bridget.

I think that these are two different families, or more. the Griffith ones maybe belong to each other.

Richard and William (who married Mary) are definitely brothers. Nowhere is there a James in this generation.
