Looking for any information on Thomas Reidy who married Mary Eagar in Castleisland 1857. Thomas originated from Kilmoyley Co Kerry and would have been born about 1831. I dont know who his parents were.  Does anyone know if i could find a birth certificate for Thomas? Church records in Ardfert dont go back that far so i'm at a dead end and was wondering if anyone could help are guide me in the right direction.

Welcome to Rootschat but there will be no birth certificate for Thomas Reidy if he was born before the start of civil regostration of births in 1864.
Civil registration of Catholic marriages also started in 1864 but if it was a non-catholic ceremony which took place after 1845 there should be a marriage certificate. Otherwise it's church records (if they exist).
Will have this post moved to Co. Kerry board so people with local knowledge will see it in case anyone can help.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
