hi su

i'm not surprised you haven't managed to link them in yet, theres over 1400 philps and variations.

anyone else you want me to check for?

get back to the 1600's and you might be related to the Laird of Kippo.

I have Mackies in the family. Found a Walter Mackie who married a Catherine Redpath. Though strange thing was that on their marriage certificate....written as Rippith but an alias Redpath??
Do you have any idea why this would be?Be great if you could come up with some info.
Su

But why would they write `Alias` on certificate?
