Hi Suzic

Looks like we will have a lot in common - I too am descended through John Philp & Maria Mackie's daughter Katherine - She married Robert Davidson in St Monance in 1866.  Their son John Philp Davidson married Elizabeth Wilson in Douglas, Lanark in 1891.  Their son Thomas, Bn 1897 was my Grandfather.

I'll send you a PM with contact details.

Regards

Hi Jeannie

So far I haven't found a Jean Philp in my lot - who were further east in Fife - around Cults in the early 1700's and then further towards the coast near Crail and Anstruther.  Do you know who your Jean's parents were?
