Hi,

I'm looking for a possible connection of a William Rowe, married to Jane Broad, and Francis Rowe, married to Margaret Pollock, probably all born around 1810 -1830 in the Devon area.

If anyone can help or direct me to a site where I can search births, deaths and marriages in England I would be most grateful..

The best place to look for pre 1837 births and marriages is the Latter Day Saints site:
www.familysearch.org

The information on deaths is unfortunately very limited
Bell, Salter, Street - Devon, Middlesbrough.
Lickess- North Yorkshire, Middlesbrough.
Etherington - North Yorks and Durham.
Barker- North Yorks
Crooks- Durham
Forster- North Yorks/Durham
Newsam, Pattison, Proud - North Yorks.
Timothy, Griffiths, Jones - South Wales

Do you have any more specific information Kirsty, such as the area of Devon or dates?

i know i am posting to an old post, but i am looking for info on george rowe and elizabeth ann hall also and their daughter fanny rowe... i need to know who fanny married and when she died.... any help would be great... Hazel Green

You might have more success if you start a new thread. Either way - please can you give an indication of dates or even century? I did find a marriage for a George ROWE & an Elizabeth A HALL in Plymouth district 1866. Is this the family? Approx when was your Fanny born?

yes that is the george rowe and & elizabeth Ann Hall. I have had some success in getting some info, now i am looking for Elizabeth's death certificate..... and cause of death.... she was born I think in 1948 in Stonehouse, Devon, England actually i need her birth cert. also. And she died 24 Aug 1881 in Greenock, Renfrewshire, Scotland.
I find it hard sometimes finding info on my relatives in Scotland.

Their daughter Fanny Rowe was born 1873 and died 1912 and married Edward McCafferty there daughter Fanny was born in 1912. I am trying to find out if the elder Fanny died in childbirth. I have the marriage cert now for fanny and edward.
