That message is what you receive when you try to PM someone who has not made 3 posts on the forum. She should be notified when she next logs in, as you logged a reply here. However the last time she was active was Saturday 20 February 10 10:28 GMT (UK)

Tried to email her, but her email address is not live, it was an old blueyonder.co.uk address, which is not in use anymore. Sorry no other method of contacting her.

Was your father Russell Cessford married to Alice Powell. My husband's father was George Powell and would have been her uncle.

We have a photo which we think was taken with them and the Powell family before they came to Australia.

I have only just seen this post while searching for something else.

Yes Russell and Alice were my parents.  Uncle George and Aunt Nan used to live in Sighthill, Edinburgh before they moved to Australia.  Mary Powell was my gran and and my grandad I think was George's Brother.
