McBAIN \ McBEAN. I am interested in contacting any decendants researching the following family.

1. James MCBAIN. He was born Bef. 1780. He died on 18 May 1858 in Kildrummie, Nairn,  Nairnshire, Scotland.

He married Janet MCEWAN. They were married on 22 Apr  1795 in Parish of Nairn, Nairnshire, Scotland
She was born Bef. 1780. She died Aft. 1816.

Hi,

I have recently started following my family tree (McBain) in the Auldearn area and I saw your post from what looks like Dec-08.

So far, I have found a William McBain born in 2nd June 1821 Urchany, Geddes, Nairn, Scotland and believe he is my great great grandad, and this post makes me wonder if he might be one of the offspring of one of these older children you mention here...

Would be great to discuss this topic more with whoever wrote it..
