Lookup please Edward Straughan 1841 census

Edward Straughan possibly born March qtr Alnwick 1839.
Shown 1881 census as age 39 born Rock, Northumberland which is in the Alnwick registration district.

In that census he is living at Palmers Ville, Longbenton I would be interested to see also if he is living in susbsequent census in the same area.

1841 the family were living at Embleton, Northumberland.
1851 father now a publican and family living on Holy Island.
1861 Edward was a joiner and living at Alnmouth, Northumberland. Says he was born Holy Island.

Thanks for that, would be interested in knowing what age/s Edward is quoted as. in 1881 he is shown as 39 which makes him born 1842+- a year and the  only likely birth I have found is the quoted one in March qtr of 1839.

Could you also advise of parents names and reported ages. Is the name of the premises he is a publican listed? Whilst most of the subsequent generations worked in the mines one of his grandsons was also a publican at eh Six Mile Bridge Inn in the 60s'

From 1851 census:
Parents Robert Straughan, 54, born Wooler, Northumberland and Eleanor, 51 born Bolton, Northumberland.
Not sure if this is the Inn name as the writing is unclear but the address begins Mary Gate ----- -------. I googled mary gate, holy island and there is a ship inn in that area but don't know if that would be the name in 1851.
Edward's birth year is given as 1839 in other census returns.

1891 he was still in Palmersville, Longbenton. Can't see him in 1901.
If there is anything else I will do it tomorrow.
