Laurie:

I wondered how successful you were - I have just found my husbands great grandfather dying in Knowle Hospital in 1917.

If there any "easy route" to go to access his admission records etc. given that I live in Canada?

Thanks, Linda

Hi Linda,

No luck as yet but I have been really busy with work so my research has been on the back boiler for a while and I have big family so I've been following a different route lately. I plan to get back to Edward Ward very soon though.

Best wishes
Laurie

Hi all! Hoping to find records for 2 people at Knowle Hospital/Asylum, Fareham....

I know my Great-nan, as well as her sister were both admitted there (at seperate times)

I would love to see some of their records to know more about them. If anybody is near, or already going to the archives could you please possibly try and look for those medical records of my 2 relatives?

Their names are: Bertha Annie Trott (nee Lynch) born 1887 and her sister Laura May Beesley (nee Lynch) born 1893. Laura died in 1967 whilst at Knowle hospital.

Cheers
