TREALAW CEMETRY - Evan Davies

Can anyone help please.

Have found record of death for Evan Davies in July-Sept. quarter 1924, aged 62.  I think this is my great-grandfather.  Is there any record of him buried in Trealaw and, if so, is there anyone else in the same plot.  This may help confirm I have the right person.

There are no exact matches by a good match is

Plot S403 Margaret Davies age 78 1952
It could be wrong aged entered.
If the other person matches then contact Treorchy library for a look up.

I don't think this can be the right person.  I was hoping to find his wife Mary in the same plot.  I haven't come across any Margarets in the family as yet.  Looking at the dates and ages you have given, if they are correct, they would have been born 2 years apart, so I suspect they are correct and are husband/wife.

Thanks Vicky but none of the names, apart from Mary, ring any bells and the ages for Evan & Mary don't tie up.  My Evan was born 1862/3 and Mary 1864 according to the census returns.  Had no luck getting birth certificates so cannot be precise.
Perhaps they were buried elsewhere.
