Thank you for the confirmation of date and also the Church, part of my research into my family
is building a  kind of picture of there lives, and i like to look up the Church and its interiors.
I got a Reply from the chap researching Baxter's  on the Suffolk surname site, he doesn't know of Lucy,
but will let me know if he comes across any relevant info.
regards Lynne

Hi Lynwin

I couldn't remember why the Neve surname rang a bell.  I found out that the Lucy Baxter born in 1852 Fressingfield married a George Neve in 1873 Norwich area.  George was from the Stoke Holy Cross.

Thank you suffolkan, i knew about that marriage, George is the son of Jonathan and Lucy.
Not sure how the two Lucy's tie up. i thought the parentage of the older Lucy might drop all the puzzle pieces into a neat picture and that the younger Lucy could be the old rLucy's neice.

I apologise to all posters for my slowness in replying , my computer is upstairs and my back is very
painful at the moment so only read responces on my way to bed, also my specs are downstairs so spelling might be odd.

Hi, i hope someone will be able to assist with finding my 3x great grans birth or Christening.

Her name was Lucy Baxter born c 1812 in Fressingfield so the census says, by 1841 she was living in

Norfolk with 3xg Grandad Jonathan Neve and children. I would love to have her parents names and her

marriage date would be a bonus. Many thanks and Happy New Year Lynne

Lookups from the Fressingfield Parish Registers are available at The Suffolk Surnames List.  This site has many resources apart from recording Suffolk County surname interests.

I had a look at the Fressingfield PR at the RO today, but not sure if this will be any help ...

I could not find a baptism for Lucy around the 1812 mark, only Lydia.  I noted this baptism along with her siblings, although reading above, I see they might be on the IGI anyway.

Lydia d/o John and Mary Baxter (late Jolly)
7th March 1814

Also her siblings:
Mary 24 Aug 1794
Maria 29 May 1796
John 4th March 1798
Sarah 29th Dec 1799
Phillis 19th Apr 1801
Matilda 6 Feb 1803
Harriot 24th June 1804
Henry 20th Apr 1807
George 23rd Oct 1808

Regards
Anne

Thank you for taking time to look for Lucy for me, i had wondered if i could attach her to that
family group. It seems strange that so many Baxter details are available and yet none for Lucy.
Thanks again Lynne

Hi Lynne
I'm all new to this but it looks like our trees are linked. My Husband is 3x great grandson of Jonathan Neve. I'm not sure if we've been in contact previously.
