Hi Sparrett
This is great news, many thanks.
I'm related to Gwladys via the Jones family from 14 crown lane, Conway.
Last week I found, and went to, John jones' grave in st Agnes old cemetery, Conway and also located his parents grave too, Thomas Jones and Margaret Thomas both born 1842-1844 but can't find their marriage yet. They lived at bull cottages, and 5 wind street and 8 crown lane, all Conway addresses.
I have a photo of John Jones and his grave too. His wife isn't with him in either! I knew Gwladys' sister my Aunty Jinny, of Conway.
From this info, It looks like they had no children, but I have a photo of them on one of their uk visits, with a small boy and several young ladies around them which I took as their children but now maybe they are the five sisters from 1911 census. I've also found an infant death Thomas Jones 1909, aged 4 months, from 12 crown lane, sadly. I have those certificates now.
I assume from your message HD means house duties again and not Herbert division? The middle name of May is new detail as that's not in the 1911 uk census page, I would have thought it would have been like her sisters Alice Peace Jones and Margaret Elizabeth Jones.
I only have her mother as Jane Jones not Mary in her name either. You haven't stated the source of that data? Please can you advise.
So at this stage I have to assume no children, but were children included in the Aus electoral rolls? Do you have any indication on cemetery where they are buried and who with, I'm amazed you came back so quick with your response so a big thank you.
I've located a couple of passenger lists for them 1948, 1951, 1958 on the Ormande and SS Stratheden.
Regards Gareth.
