RAF Apprentices. Roll of Honour.
« Reply #2 on: Saturday 06 December 08 15:40 GMT (UK) »
Some dedicated members of the Royal Air Force Halton Apprentices Association and others Have spent many hours  compiling and having published a beautifully bound a Role of Honour Book of Apprentices that Died During World War 2. As much detail as possible for each individual has been included on the role. It will be displayed in a glass case at St Georges Church Halton and will serve as a lasting token of Remembrance to those 1580 Ex Apprentices that gave their lives for all of us that live on.
I know the orriginal work to correlate everything was done on computor so hopefully one day a searchable list will be available as a CD to purchase to aid Association Funds.
                                                        Regards Rog.
This Roll is now on line and fully searchable on the link here.Rog

Found this, purely by chance, but it looks useful for those with relatives who served on an RAF Squadron.
