Hi Richard

Gerry's done such a phenomenal job on Old Dalbeth MIs, huge credit to him.

He doesn't look to have been on line since 24 May, the day before your post, which is why he hasn't responded so far. He will I am sure as soon as he logs back on  :)

All my crew are there (Old and New cemeteries), sadly no records found so far for them at Old Dalbeth  :'(

Hi Conway,

Sorry for taking so long in getting back to you on this, My heads been stuck in text books of a different kind for the last 6 weeks to get my final exams past. All done now and I can get back to this. I'll have a look at the Conway grave you mentioned once I get home and send you the details asap.

Gerry - Thanks for your help anyway.

I checked up on Fr. Daniel Conway (worth a try !) but no relation.

I now suspect the lair that I am after is in the newer part of Dalbeth/St. Peters.
I've got a lair/section number but I am just waiting for a reply from the office.

Cheers

Richard

Gerry - Thanks for that !

I'll contact them today.

I heard early last year that all the Catholic cemetery records were away to be digitised and made available (some how ?). Maybe they are now in Edinburgh as part of this process. I'll post a note if I find anything out.

Thanks again

Cheers

Richard

Conway,

Your correct, the records are in the process of being digitised as well as a whole load of other records which touch wood should be available online as part of Scotlands People nearer the end of this year.
