Gibraltar - Look Up Offer

I've just joined and I'm amazed at the reponse I've had to my questions

I want to offer my assistance to anybody  trying to trace details of relatives in Gibraltar.

I'm willing to help when I have time

Records are split here in Gib. Military records appear to no longer be here, but the Garrison Church bmd records are in the Chapel just across the road from me

The Gib civilian archive is computerised, but not online. However,  I live just around the corner and the Archivist is very helpful.

Welcome to Rootschat   People on here are great aren't they!

Thank you for your kind offer of lookups in Gibraltar. I do have just the one if its possible.

William Darlison (Darlinson) born around 1811 to John Darlison and his wife Lettitia Clifford.  It would be a military birth  as father John served in the 6th Foot Regiment when he received his pension. Maybe some siblings too?  I do know that it cannot be before 1806 as he has an older brother born in Canada in that year.

i wonder if it would be possible for you to have a look for edward dalton birth records  born abt 1801 gibraltar i think they will be a military connection but not certain i dont know his parents or if there are any other siblings .
