My great grandfather was Laurence Rossiter from Newross, Wexford. He was killed in ww1, his ship SS Oslo was sunk by a German submarine in 1917.

He married Elizabeth Cavanagh from Liverpool in 1913.

His mother was Mary Rossiter and his father Nicholas.

Hi

I have John Rossiter of Abbeyville's Will states that one of the Executors was Doctor Thomas Rossiter of New Ross.  I am assuming Thomas is the son of John or a brother.  Thomas died 19th Feb 1894 his effects amounted to £7,416.

Thomas Rossiter of Wexford MD - granted from Edinburgh University 1834.

This family are linked to the Newbawn Rossiters which is my line as well. Hope this helps
