Pat.   Funny how you can be doing something then all of a sudden you remember a small detail about something.
Just recalled John (Jackie) Connelly who stayed in Dunblane and passed away a few months after my dad.
My dad used to say they were cousins, and the rare occasions i spoke to Jackie he would tell me of the times when his family would visit Deanston  they went go to my Gran & Grandpa's.
He was about 7yrs younger than my dad, but i don't know who his parents were i assume his father was either Patrick,Robert or James.

G'day Pat.    Archibald Brownlie was already married to a Mary Isabella Hays
when Jeannie was born.
So right enough Maggie and he were not married and it looks like
she has had to tell who Jeannie's father was for her marriage to
my Grandad.
Archibald died at Braes of Boquapple farm in August 1918.
The farm is just outside Thornhill in the Parish of Norrieston , but in those days it came under the parish of Kilmadock.

Hi Pat
Read you are moving house, so you won't be on line for a wee while,
but i met Isobel King (one of the decendants of the Magaret Stewart ,James King
marriage) and she has throwen another name in to the line.
She couldn't be 100% of christian name but surname is Dalgleish.
She is giving me a call sometime to come to my house to see what i have and show me what she has done , although she says it's been 10yrs since she done anything with her family tree.

I have Margaret (Maggie) Stewart at http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=doigk&id=I52586. I also have a large number of the Connelly's on the file, some of whom went to Youngstown, Ohio.
