"Shepherd's Page" in 1881 Census
« on: Friday 06 February 09 15:41 GMT (UK) »
Hi, Everyone,
Came across a job description in deepest Suffolk in the 1881 Census for a 16-year-old that stated "Shepherd's Page".  He was lodging in the house of James MARSH, a shepherd.  Any ideas about what he might have got up to during daylight hours...?

Newf,
Conjures up an idyllic scene, presumably with a Spring setting.  A male version of Little Bo Peep, perhaps...
