I hope I have done this right as I am on my own at the moment - I would just like to say a HUGE THANKYOU TO EVERYONE who helped me to find out invaluable information regarding my grandfather ( I feel I can call him that now) James Palmer ....my dad showed off all his '' new information'' to some of his siblings yesterday and there were a few tears but a lot of appreciation for this brand new information and it would not have been possible without the help of the kindess of you all.
thankyou and I wish you all success in your searches.

thanks to all the info..the newspaper cutting, the family history you have all made some very old people happy - and I don't mean me!
I am taking my parents to see an exhibition from the ''manchesters'' tomorrow so this is all so perfect and I just wanted to show my appreciation as I would never have found any of this out without the know how and diligence of the rootschatterers - I think thats what you're called.
well done you
