Rootschat has helped me to appreciate the challenge of researching family history and when you do manage to clear obstacles or brick walls, with help,  there is a sense of achievement.

It's not RootsChat that is so great, but the people who make it up.  RC is just the medium.

People are so helpful and inspiring.  As well ass basic family data I have received, it is the insights and little clues as to what I should be doing.  I am not a very good on-line searcher, but I have managed to struggle a little less.
