William MILLS Glasgow, Scotland to Moulamein, NSW?

In 1862 my widowed 4 x greatgrandmother Sarah MILLS and her daughter Grace MILLS came out to Australia on board the ship "Accrington" leaving behind (?) two son's John and William aged between 17 & 20. The 1851 census for Glasgow had John aged 9 born Glasgow and Willaim aged 7 born Glasgow, giving him a DOB around 1844.

In 1894 Sarah MILLS (then known as JOHNSON after remarrying in 1863) died in Moulamein, NSW. The informant on the death certificate was William MILLS - son of Moulamein NSW.

The question is what became of William MILLS and how did he get to Australia. William's father was Gilbert MILLS (died 1851 - Tailor) and mother Sarah MILLS. William MILLS would have been around 48 to 50 years of age at the time of his mother's death.   

I am seeking any information whatsoever on a William MILLS in Australia with a Glasgow connection. If anyone has any information that may relate to a death /arrival or postal directories etc that may be for this William MILLS I will be most grateful for the leads. I hope by tracing William I can open up a whole new story on this family in Australia.

There are 2 newspaper articles on Trovenla if you search "William Mills" Moulamein. (drunk and adultery)1893 and 1896.

Also on the Accrington was Annie Mills aged 27(PROV Ass shipping) Can't see Wm or John at this stage in Vic or NSW.

1891 NSW census: Sarah Johnson, Moulamein, Head of household. 2 females 4 males. No listing for Wm Mills in Moulamein.So is Wm included in the 4 males ??
